After the Guardian reported on the rehashing of a 2006 ‘Charter of Muslim Understanding,’ we stated yesterday on Twitter that we would be the first to sign such a charter if the UKIP leadership, (including Gerard Batten and Godfrey Bloom), were willing to sign up to the following pledges that we hold dear. We have listed the charter below and look forward to hearing from Nigel Farage and Gerard Batten’s office, though we must add that Godfrey Bloom signing this with Nigel and Gerard on behalf of UKIP, is a pre-requisite. If all three sign up to the pledges, we will happily sign Gerard’s ‘Charter’. Deal?
