These are the latest figures from the Metropolitan Police service regarding anti-Muslim prejudiced crimes in the capital. The figures continue to show raised levels of such crimes when compared to 2012 within the boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth and Hackney. Figures from these 3 boroughs show significant rises even though the figures are, thankfully, in the double digits. However, like hate crime reporting in general, under-reporting is a problem and community education on reporting in is key to tackling the problem.
